FURY 2.0.0a5 Released#

The FURY project is happy to announce the release of FURY 2.0.0a5! FURY is a free and open source software library for scientific visualization and 3D animations.

This Release is mainly a maintenance release. The major highlights of this release are:

  • Fixed slicer flickering issue in nearest interpolation mode

  • Refactored and introduced correct opacity attribute

  • Added API to convert images into wgpu texture views

  • Fixed coordinate calculation issues

  • Implemented streamline-based ROI filtering

  • Fixed peaks slicer to show correct center position

  • Fixed screen configuration bounding box handling

  • Enabled slicer blend-mode functionality

  • Autogenerated requirements and maintenance improvements
